THE CONSERVATORIUM: 5 STARS – Museumplein, Amsterdam
I stayed at this hotel with my mother in March, and it was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for: a fun and chic hotel in the city. The architecture of the hotel was very neat – it was a conservatory before becoming a hotel.
The rooms were very pretty, but I would recommend you ask for a room facing the city, not the hotel interior. The restaurant in the entry is great; we ate breakfast there every morning. Be sure to try the hot chocolate! The hotel is also close to a lot of great museums, like The Moco Museum (my favorite) and The Van Gogh Museum. The neighborhood in which the hotel is situated has a number of great restaurants. Check out my post about my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam for more details.
