During my time in France, I visited Giverny & Claude Monet’s Gardens with my language school. Here are some pictures from my time there:
I then went inside Monet’s home.

I got a mid-afternoon snack at Les Nymphéas, then explored the surrounding town some more, including the haystacks Monet famously painted and the church at which he was buried.

Lastly, we stopped in the nearby town of Vernon to see the house Monet painted before heading back to Paris.

Monet’s Gardens were absolutely beautiful, and I would highly recommend taking the time to visit. If you can, check out le Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris too, which features some of Monet’s iconic Water Lily Paintings.
