My Favorite Restaurants in Amsterdam

These restaurants are three of my favorites from my trip to Amsterdam with my mom. Bon appétit!

Willems

A French / European restaurant, Willems offers interesting and delicious dishes in a fresh and modern atmosphere. My meal was magnificent. As a vegetarian, I was able to find a number of options. The waitress was very nice and told us about the best things to do in Amsterdam as well. More, the restaurant was situated in a great neighborhood with many boutiques.

Blue Pepper

If you are looking for a unique meal, I recommend Blue Pepper! It’s an Indonesian restaurant that offers a number of tasting menus. I liked how it had a completely vegetarian menu that contained not only vegetables, but many yummy grains and more filling dishes as well. The food was eclectic and had many complex and nuanced flavors.

Bolenius

This restaurant has one Michelin star, and I can see why. It also has tasting menus, and uses locally grown ingredients. Like Blue Pepper, it offers a vegetarian menu, but it consists entirely of vegetables. There were many plates that were prepared in front of us, which was really neat. We also received a fun gift of homemade candies after our dessert, which was a nice surprise.
